Relaxing on the patio with a book and unwinding in the cozy lounge were just what I needed. The Wi-Fi could be a little spotty at times, but it didn't really take away from my experience. definitely check this place out! 😊

this place was super cozy n clean! the host was really friendly n helped us with great tips for walks nearby. breakfast was delicious, we had a full english every morning. also, it was just a short walk to the city centre n loads of eaterys which is really nice. we got a parking permit for free, which made things much easier!
the shower was kinda weak and could use some more pressure. also, the bathroom was a bit small for my liking.

The owner, Alison, was super welcoming, and I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the place. They even provided dog towels at the front door in case my pooch decided to jump in the lake. It was just perfect.
Now, it wasn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for, and it was still acceptable.

Cozy stay with great breakfast
We had a fab stay for two nights. The room was super clean and comfy, and we had a quiet sleep. The breakfast was a highlight, freshly cooked and lots of choices. The shower was a bit weak, but we managed. Location is spot on, close to Ambleside and perfect for walks. Would def recommend it!

The breakfast was a total treat. I devoured the full English that was cooked to perfection! Plus, I loved how the owner keenly suggested local walks for epic views of Windermere. Not to mention the room was spotless and comfy, making it feel like home sweet home!
The only cheeky bit was the shower pressure—it could've been a tad stronger, but honestly, with how comfy my stay was, it barely mattered. Everything else sparkled like Ambleside sunshine!

A warm welcome set the tone for a delightful stay. The room was comfortable, well-equipped with tea and coffee, and the breakfast was filling. the shower had a weak flow, and the bathroom felt a bit small for our needs. While there wasn't a grassy area nearby for our dog, the quiet road at the back offered a good alternative for short walks.

My family and I enjoyed a lovely stay at The Lyndale. The breakfast impressed us daily, and the room provided ample comfort for our adventures. A slight drawback was the shower pressure, but the superb location and friendly service more than made up for it.

My single room was super clean and cozy. The bed was really comfy, and I loved the little touches like the guest robe and extra blanket. The shower was hot with a strong jet, and I didn’t hear noise from other rooms—nice and quiet! The views were lovely too.
